Customer Reviews

Amazing! Just wonderful to be able to get up close with the elephants, and experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. We had such a fantastic time, highly recommend. - Katharina

What a magical place, the stars of the show are most certainly the magnificent elephants. Their keepers are amazing people that have a love for these beautiful creatures. The accommodation was very nice, a bit outdated for some maybe, but neat & clean, and the suite with the window to the boma was a bonus! - Natalie

My wife and I tremendously enjoyed the Morning Elephant Experience. After a warm welcome from Geoffrey, the park's manager, and watching a well-put-together introductory video, we walked into the park and selected the elephants we wanted to walk with. My wife chose Sally, the matriarch. I chose, Nandi. For almost 45 minutes, we each walked with our elephant and an assigned guide. The guides were highly committed to their work and the elephants, and very considerate and knowledgeable. Spending almost 45 minutes walking alongside these gentle giants was incredible. The experience is hard to describe it was awe-inspiring, peaceful, and deeply touching. I learned that the name Nandi means "a sweet thing" in the Zulu language. My elephant, Nandi, is perfectly named. Following our walk with Sally and Nandi, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and then tagged onto another group of park visitors to participate in an elephant feeding. We left permanently marked by the experience, and impressed with how Kynsna Elephant Park is bringing its mission to life. I highly recommend this experience. It's life-changing. - Brent

It was an unforgettable experience. The park's guided tour allowed us to get incredibly close to these majestic creatures, observing their behaviour, social interactions and intelligent nature. There was also Zebras at the park, we were allowed to take pictures around them. I also fed and interacted with the elephants which was scary at first but leaving me with lifelong memories. - Yamkela

Got to walk for about half an hour with a guide between the elephant and me. Each visitor had their own guide and elephant. The guide answered my questions and the experience of being close to such an amazing animal was a privalage. The elephants here are either rescues or have been born at the facility. As they walk with the tourists twice a day and then are fed by the tourists at times during the rest of the day this is not like their natural environment. - Gillian
