My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time. To walk with the elephants was beyond our belief and truly special. The guides were exceptional and loved our interaction with them. Would highly recommend to anyone? - Heather

The elephant experience at Knysna Elephant Park was excellent! It is clear that the elephants are the focus of the organization. The KEP is a very well-run operation; the guides are knowledgable, friendly and approachable. Elephants are amazing creatures and to be so close to them was one of the best experiences of our lives. To have been able to feed them by hand and walk with them really gives one a sense of their power and majesty. We also gained insight into this specific herd's dynamics. There were also zebras and several types of birds to observe along with the elephants. At least one member of our group left with the inclination to go back and spend time there as a volunteer. - Matt

Our stay at Knysna Park was fantastic. Unfortunately, we only slept here for one night; we could have stayed longer. The staff is incredibly friendly. The information center at the reception is superb. There is so much to read and learn here about the magical giants: the elephants. The "Meet the Herd" and "the walk" are fantastic. The animals are well supervised by their keepers, and they are constantly watched over. This makes it possible for visitors to meet the elephants in a responsible manner. It is magnificent to see the night enclosure when you open the door of the hotel room or look at the enclosure through the window. We enjoyed it immensely! - Chantal
